Monitors the efficient movement of material from the warehouse to production.
Use ERP systems and production planning software to process transactions.
Maintain accurate records and manufacturing documentation.
Assist with identifying problems with material orders and suggesting solutions.
Work cross functionally to troubleshoot and resolve paperwork and part issues.
Adherent to established policies, procedures, and proper labor charging practices.
Ability to work overtime/weekends/shifts as needed.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
Maintain strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent
4 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/associate’s degree with 0-2 years of prior related experience
Experience in an Electrical/Mechanical/Optical discipline
Aerospace or Defense industry experience
Proven experience as a Production Control Expert or in a similar role
In-depth knowledge of production planning and quality control principles
Lean Manufacturing practices
Ability to work with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel)
Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Security Clearance.
