About the role
- Closely partners with Product Manager and Program Managers throughout all stages of product development and release to production
- Assist in developing detailed program plans including schedules, resource forecasts, and risk assessments.
- Lead all technical aspects of a project to ensure quality and timely delivery.
- Coordinate and review work done by various teams, including engineers, technicians, manufacturing, vendors, and subcontractors.
- Proactively identify and remove roadblocks (internally across the organization and externally) to help the team progress in their development.
- Address any technical gaps in the project team by providing the necessary expertise or facilitating discussions with subject matter experts.
- Maintain effective communication between the development team and stakeholders.
- Develop and review technical documentation, including interface control documents, operation/maintenance guides, test plans, schematics, and system diagrams.
- Participate in technical feasibility decisions.
- Assist with hands-on integration, test, and debug as necessary with project teams in a lab environment.
- Ability to travel up to 10%.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering and minimum 10 years of prior relevant experience.
- Graduate Degree and a minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.
- 3 Years of experience leading and interfacing with teams of multiple disciplines utilizing systems engineering tools and resources
