About the role
- Provides Supply Chain/Material Management (SC/MM) support and leadership in support of Business Unit and Business Development activities.
- Responsible for developing and documenting strategies, plans, and processes to manage the supply chain for integration into the Program Management plan.
- Works directly with Program Management and acts as the primary customer contact for the Supply Chain portion of program activities.
- Represents procurement on the program integrated program teams (IPTs) and interfaces cross functionally in the resolution of material status, problems or issues.
- Manages program health with Earned Value (EV) to manage program cost and schedule by using EV fundamentals and support Budget Change Requests (BCRs), Latest Revised Estimate (LRE).
- Formulates quarterly Estimate at Complete (EAC) reports to communicate the program’s performance to budget.
- Assists or leads SC/MM in the identification of risks and opportunities to executing the assigned program scope within cost, schedule and technical performance requirements.
- Supports supplier contract negotiations to meet program requirements.
- Actively manages suppliers to level required (e.g. Supplier Mission Assurance Reviews (SMARs), Post Award Reviews (PARs), Program Management Reviews (PMRs), Preliminary Design Reviews (PDRs), Critical Design Reviews (CDRs), Supplier Manufacturing Readiness Reviews (SMRRs), etc.) to achieve program requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant Supply Chain experience.
- Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related Supply Chain experience.
- In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related Supply Chain experience.
