About the role
- Assist in leading all phases of programs: planning, execution, strategy, and management.
- Drive program action to achieve business and financial objectives for orders, revenue, profit, and cash flow for an existing program.
- Responsible for cost, schedule, and technical performance for designated project areas working with a program lead or manager.
- Act as customer contact for program activities, leading review sessions with customers for assigned aspects of proposal development, negotiations, and execution.
- Assist in coordinating program support, production, and supply chain teams to ensure on time and on budget deliveries.
- Work specifically as a deputy PM between the D5 LE2 and D5 modernization programs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of relevant program management experience.
- Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of related program management experience.
- In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related program management experience.
- Project Management Institute (PMI) certification.
- Demonstrated managerial level of leadership.
- Extensive knowledge of financial management and business development practices.
- Experience with DoD contract execution.
- Experience with Microsoft Office products (Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
