About the role
- Responsible for managing, preparing, administering, and directing the control of budgets for various programs.
- Generate budgets, forecast funding profiles and ensure adequate funding available and within negotiated positions.
- Monitor and control cost.
- Quarterly Estimate at Complete (EAC) updates as required by Sarbanes-Oxley Controls Internal and External Earned Value reporting
- Partner with Program Managers, Control Account Managers, and Customers to drive results and offer solutions
- Interface with various levels of management, Program Office and functional departments to support programs
- Lead process improvement initiatives
Requirements
- To be eligible, applicants must be pursuing a Master's or Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Management, Business Administration or have completed their Bachelor’s degree within the last 12 months, regardless of age.
- Proficiency with Excel and Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of cost/schedule development, budgeting, financial analysis and reporting, financial modeling, corporate forecasting, and/or business acquisitions
- Familiarity with Contract Compliance and Negotiation
- Experience with customer/management reporting
