About the role
- Lead mechanical design efforts for assigned programs
- Develop and mature mechanical designs from concept through qualification and production release
- Generate and maintain engineering drawings, models, and technical documentation
- Create, revise, and interpret engineering drawings and related documentation
- Define and support qualification and environmental testing
- Participate and/or lead in failure investigations related to design and production
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Aerospace or other related Engineering field
- Minimum 6 years of prior relevant work experience
- Experience with CAD (Solid Edge, SolidWorks, NX, or equivalent)
- Knowledge of GD&T, tolerance analysis, and drawing standards
- Must be able to obtain a US Security Clearance
