About the role

  • Lead quality assurance operations and drive excellence across defense programs
  • Ensure highest standards of quality, compliance, and customer satisfaction
  • Manage quality teams and foster a culture of continuous improvement
  • Serve as a key liaison between customers, regulatory agencies, and internal stakeholders
  • Provide executive-level oversight of quality management systems and processes
  • Direct quality assurance including manufacturing quality, inspection operations, and quality engineering
  • Maintain AS9100 and ISO 9001 certifications
  • Ensure compliance with FAA and DoD regulations
  • Work closely with Program Management, Engineering, Operations, and Supply Chain leadership
  • Establish quality performance metrics, KPIs, and dashboards

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 12 years of prior Quality experience
  • Graduate Degree and a minimum of 10 years of prior related quality experience
  • In lieu of a degree, minimum of 16 years of prior related quality experience
  • 5+ years of experience directly managing a Quality Engineering or Quality Organization
  • 2+ years managing site certification with AS9100, ISO 9001
  • 2+ years of experience with inspection methods, precision measurement, and calibration systems for aerospace components.
