About the role

  • Lead and oversee all phases of program execution from inception through completion
  • Establish milestones and monitor adherence to master plans and schedules
  • Identify program problems and obtain solutions
  • Drive program execution to achieve key business objectives
  • Responsible for cost, schedule and technical performance of programs
  • Manage programs using Earned Value Management (EVM)
  • Coordinate proposal preparation and oversee performance Statement of Work (SOW)
  • Act as primary customer contact for program activities
  • Establish design concepts, criteria and engineering efforts for product research, development, integration and test
  • Expand product line with customers
  • Direct the work of assigned employees from various areas.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience or Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience
  • Experience managing production, sustainment and depot programs
  • Active US DoD Secret Clearance
  • Experience with government contracting/manufacturing environment
  • Previous experience managing large, complex programs
  • Strong understanding of Government contracting requirements and execution of contract types
  • Experience with Earned Value management (EVM), Cost Performance Reports (CPR) as they relate to the WBS, schedule and cost plans.
