About the role
- Ensure precision and safety of liquid rocket engine assembly and test
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications
- Verify compliance to engineering drawings and approve work instructions
- Lead and perform root cause analyses
- Develop and perform process audits
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams
- Travel to Kennedy Space Center occasionally
- Maintain a clean and organized work area using 5S+1
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience
- Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience
- In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience
- Familiarity with MS Office and web databased applications
- ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) preferred
- Familiarity with Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP)
- Familiarity with Product/Process Failure Modes and Effects Analysis
