About the role

  • Ensure precision and safety of liquid rocket engine assembly and test
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications
  • Verify compliance to engineering drawings and approve work instructions
  • Lead and perform root cause analyses
  • Develop and perform process audits
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams
  • Travel to Kennedy Space Center occasionally
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area using 5S+1

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience
  • Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience
  • In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience
  • Familiarity with MS Office and web databased applications
  • ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) preferred
  • Familiarity with Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP)
  • Familiarity with Product/Process Failure Modes and Effects Analysis
