About the role
- Perform work and be ready to sign a Maintenance Release
- Report any un-airworthy conditions discovered (including Service Difficulties)
- Utilize certified/calibrated standard measuring and test equipment
- Marshal, fuel, and tow aircraft
- Maintain a clean work area
- Assume responsibility for your work
- Perform duties such as repair, modification and maintenance of aircraft in accordance with approved maintenance procedures
- Participate in the Safety Management System Program Committee on Aircraft, if requested
Requirements
- Must hold an AME license appropriately rated (M2, S or E)
- Qualifications on heavy aircraft in the areas of Engine/Airframe interface
- Environmental Control
- Electrical System
- Hydraulic System
- Fuel System
- Flight Control System
- Must be eligible for registration with the Controlled Goods Program
- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a government of Canada Reliability status and Secret Level 2/NATO Secret security clearance
- Must be eligible to meet the requirements for U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR)
