About the role

  • Oversees all Operations efforts relating to contract execution.
  • Responsible for planning, executing, and monitoring projects from beginning to end.
  • Acts as the point-of-contact between elements of Manufacturing, Procurement, Test, Quality, Engineering, Finance, and Program Management.
  • Ensures cost and schedule conformance on assigned projects by coordinating the procurement, build, and test of complex electronic systems.
  • Coordinates with Master Schedulers and Master Planners to develop baseline production plans.
  • Performs lead-time and critical path analysis on multi-level hardware builds.
  • Assesses cost and schedule risks and develop associated mitigations.
  • Estimates sales forecasts for labor and material.
  • Monitors and reports financial, schedule and technical performance of assigned projects.
  • Identifies and coordinates resources necessary for production efforts.
  • Oversees production budgets with the responsibility to analyze, manage and report on budget performance and variance analysis.
  • Interfaces and communicates with all levels of the organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience.
  • Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience.
  • In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Related experience in a manufacturing, production, or other highly schedule-based environments.
  • Demonstrated ability in financial or data analysis and monitoring is desired.
  • Demonstrated ability in business and/or technical writing, public speaking, and creating formal presentations is desired.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and ability to analyze data using graphs and pivot tables.
  • Experience using schedule management tools such as Microsoft Project is preferred.
  • Experience with SAP or other ERP/MRP systems is preferred.
