About the role
- Assist in leading all phases of programs: planning, execution, strategy, and management
- Drives program action to achieve business and financial objectives for orders, revenue, profit, and cash flow
- Management and contract performance of a program or elements of a program
- Manages and directs assigned program
- Assures through the assigned program team that contract performance responsibility is properly delegated
- Perform risk, opportunity, and issue assessments
- Develops and implements plans for follow-on production programs
- Provides guidance and assistance to the project team in meeting established schedules
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 9 years of relevant program management experience
- Graduate Degree with a minimum of 7 years of related program management experience
- 13 years of prior related program management experience in lieu of a degree
- 3+ years experience with Earned Value Management (EVM)
- 2+ years experience preparing proposals
- Project Management Institute (PMI) certification (preferred)
- Proficient with Microsoft Office products (Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
