About the role

  • Assist in leading all phases of programs: planning, execution, strategy, and management
  • Drives program action to achieve business and financial objectives for orders, revenue, profit, and cash flow
  • Management and contract performance of a program or elements of a program
  • Manages and directs assigned program
  • Assures through the assigned program team that contract performance responsibility is properly delegated
  • Perform risk, opportunity, and issue assessments
  • Develops and implements plans for follow-on production programs
  • Provides guidance and assistance to the project team in meeting established schedules

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 9 years of relevant program management experience
  • Graduate Degree with a minimum of 7 years of related program management experience
  • 13 years of prior related program management experience in lieu of a degree
  • 3+ years experience with Earned Value Management (EVM)
  • 2+ years experience preparing proposals
  • Project Management Institute (PMI) certification (preferred)
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products (Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
