About the role

  • responsible for the financial management, review, billing, and forecasting of assigned programs
  • work closely with Program Finance team and Contract Managers to ensure accuracy of invoices
  • prepare quarterly, monthly, and weekly financial reports
  • validate actual cost reporting
  • support monthly closing activities
  • responsible for project setup and maintenance with the financial systems
  • review and prepare monthly project billings for government agencies
  • identify, generate, and ensure proper recording and documentation of any required correcting entries
  • research and respond to customer questions
  • proactively work with Program Management and the project team to prepare monthly cash forecast collections and funds run out analysis
  • create and maintain projects within Deltek Costpoint financial system

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience
  • Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience
  • In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience
  • 4-6 years’ experience in Microsoft Office applications including Excel (Pivot tables and VLOOKUP) and PowerPoint
  • Experience and demonstrated knowledge of Deltek Costpoint and IMB Cognos Report
