About the role
- Managing and controlling production, schedules, budgets and quality objectives.
- Demonstrating strong leadership and managerial skills to lead tasks simultaneously for on-time delivery.
- Assisting in the development of performance metrics in key areas such as Quality, Cost and Schedule.
- Analyzing metrics and identifying trends to provide corrective action when applicable.
- Facilitating self-directed work teams, providing training in "core skills" areas to team members and peers.
- Interacting with internal and external customers regarding product planning, problem resolution, and process improvement.
- Supporting production, business, and processes in a team-based manufacturing environment.
- Performing activities in cross-functional areas such as total quality management, manufacturing systems, material management, and process re-engineering.
- Navigating schematics and maintenance manuals as required.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum 6 years prior relevant experience.
- Graduate Degree with a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience.
- In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
- Active security clearance.
- Excellent oral, written and computer skills with Microsoft Office Suite, with heavy emphasis on Excel.
- Self-starter and motivated.
- Good interpersonal skills and have the ability to coordinate with other functional groups and support organizations.
