About the role
- Simulate the various hydraulic systems of a power plant
- Participate in the design of the simulation
- Reproduce the functionality of hydraulic systems (piping, valves, tanks, heat exchangers, turbines, pumps, HVAC, etc.) using graphical programming tools
- Participate in the validation and commissioning of the simulator
- Depending on the program, international travel to the client site may be required.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical or Chemical)
- Experience in process systems simulation
- Proficiency in C and/or C++ is essential
- Familiarity with the following tools is an asset: MS Access, SQL, MS Excel, Visual Basic
- Able to read and analyze P&IDs and plant equipment design data
- Strong knowledge of thermodynamics, hydraulics, unit operations, and heat transfer
- Able to perform mass and heat balances
- Interest in the nuclear power plant industry
- Bilingual (English and French) — spoken and written
- English language proficiency is required due to contractual obligations.
