About the role
- Responsible for the daily activities of a team of configuration and data management specialists
- Act as the L3Harris technical interface to the customer for all configuration and data management activities across the site
- Contributes to the achievement of departmental goals and operating plans with direct impact on the departmental results
- Manage cost, quality and schedule for all programs within span of control
- Train and mentor team members
- Communicate within and outside of the organization to influence leadership to accept new practices, approaches, and concepts
- Develop or champion new concepts or technologies
- Manage the implementation of functional strategies and recommend operational plans that directly impact the short to mid-term function or business area results
- Provide direction, guidance and mentoring to direct reports on requirements and job responsibilities
- Manage complex projects or processes with general oversight
- Make moderate to substantial improvements to systems and processes
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree with six (6) years of prior configuration and data management experience
- Graduate Degree with four (4) years of prior configuration and data management experience
- In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior configuration and data management experience
- Must have an active Secret Clearance at the time of hire
- Must be a US Citizen
- Experience with Teamcenter PLM
