About the role

  • Responsible for delivering technical, cost, and schedule performance for all engineering content on a program
  • Provide strategic technical leadership to achieve program objectives and profitability goals
  • Accountable for ensuring program follows all company processes and best practices
  • Communicate within and outside of the organization to influence leadership
  • Direct and consult on technical activities of design teams
  • Ensure all technical project baseline requirements are fulfilled
  • Review and advise in the creation of program documentation
  • Provide guidance and assistance to IPTs
  • Manage Technical Performance Measures, Risk, and Opportunity
  • Act as primary technical interface to customers
  • Lead customer discussions at various forums

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 12 years of prior relevant experience
  • Graduate Degree and a minimum of 10 years of prior related experience
  • In lieu of a degree, minimum of 16 years of prior related experience
  • Ability to obtain a U.S DOD Secret Clearance
  • US Citizenship
  • Ability to travel 20% for customer visits and testing sites
