About the role
- Responsible for delivering technical, cost, and schedule performance for all engineering content on a program
- Provide strategic technical leadership to achieve program objectives and profitability goals
- Accountable for ensuring program follows all company processes and best practices
- Communicate within and outside of the organization to influence leadership
- Direct and consult on technical activities of design teams
- Ensure all technical project baseline requirements are fulfilled
- Review and advise in the creation of program documentation
- Provide guidance and assistance to IPTs
- Manage Technical Performance Measures, Risk, and Opportunity
- Act as primary technical interface to customers
- Lead customer discussions at various forums
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 12 years of prior relevant experience
- Graduate Degree and a minimum of 10 years of prior related experience
- In lieu of a degree, minimum of 16 years of prior related experience
- Ability to obtain a U.S DOD Secret Clearance
- US Citizenship
- Ability to travel 20% for customer visits and testing sites
