About the role
- Lead a cross-functional team to develop the Supply Chain strategy and material execution plan for assigned programs
- Serve as the primary liaison between the Supply Chain and internal and external customers
- Develop the Material Management Plan and execute Supply Chain strategies and actions to support the program lifecycle
- Establish and maintain open channels of communication between the Supply Chain and Program teams
- Manage the on-time or early completion of all material and subcontract program milestones and deliverables
- Partner cross-functionally with Engineering, Quality, and Operations to create a common schedule-based Material Requirements Plan (MRP)
- Develop and manage Supply Chain Risks & Opportunities and communicate critical issues to stakeholders with solution-focused actions
- Support compliance with all internal policies and external laws and regulations
- Work with the Supply Chain team to develop and support strategic supplier relationships
- Responsible for all material specific guidance in support of proposal activities,
- Analyze key performance indicators and identify challenged areas, championing continued improvements
Requirements
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Active DoD Secret clearance required and the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued security clearance
- Strong project management skills
- Outstanding communication (both verbal and written), negotiation, organizational, and leadership skills
- Strong financial/data analytic skills
- Capable of managing and working in a fast-paced, demanding environment with a focus on problem resolution and process improvement
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Project
- Experience with SAP/Costpoint and material processes
- Recent experience in Military and Commercial Aviation/Aerospace product development and production is highly desired
- Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience; or a Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience
- Experience in Supply Chain and/or Program Management execution across a Product Life Cycle (Proposals, Gates, SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR, PRR, etc.)
- Earned Value Management experience
