About the role

  • Lead a cross-functional team to develop the Supply Chain strategy and material execution plan for assigned programs
  • Collaborate across functions as part of the Supply Chain team, serving as a key interface to the Program office, Engineering, Quality, Finance, Contracts, Operations, and the Customer
  • Function as a Subject Matter Expert in Supply Chain and Programmatic Practices
  • Responsible for the material plan development and coordination, execution of program material strategies
  • Ensure compliance with internal and external regulations with respect to materials and subcontracts
  • Serve as the primary liaison between the Supply Chain and internal and external customers
  • Develop and manage Supply Chain Risks & Opportunities and communicate critical issues to stakeholders
  • Support compliance with all internal policies and external laws and regulations
  • Analyze key performance indicators and identify challenged areas, championing continued improvements

Requirements

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Active DoD Secret clearance required
  • Strong project management skills
  • Outstanding communication (both verbal and written)
  • Negotiation, organizational, and leadership skills
  • Strong financial /data analytic skills
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Project
  • Experience with SAP/Costpoint and material processes
  • Recent experience in Military and Commercial Aviation/Aerospace product development and production is highly desired
  • Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience; or a Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience
  • Experience in Supply Chain and/or Program Management execution across a Product Life Cycle (Proposals, Gates, SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR, PRR, etc.)
  • Earned Value Management experience
