About the role
- Evaluating complex technical issues and providing system-engineering solutions
- Developing designs and systems into new and existing technical documentation after performing engineering assessments
- Implementing designs when necessary
- Conducting comprehensive safety analyses of the system
- Ensuring compliance with standards such as MIL-STD-882E, RADHAZ, Laser Safety, and MIL-STD-1472
- Generating critical documentation to support range safety personnel for demonstration events
- Creating materials requested by customers to substantiate the safe operation of C-UAS systems
- Producing objective quality evidence (OQE) to verify the system's safety and functionality
- Contributing to the completion of programs by documenting requirements, creating a schedule and tracking items to closure
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Systems, Mechanical, Electrical or Software Engineering, or a related technical field with 6 years minimum prior relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience
- Experience with the application of systems engineering tools for requirements management, risk management and systems decommissioning and disposal activities
- Experience working with project planning, requirement management and scheduling
- Demonstrated experience and/or training in the integration of requirements, design and technology during the design and development of complex systems
- Demonstrated experience and/or training in product development and associated development life cycle
