About the role
- Support the end-to-end development of engineering bids and proposals
- Work closely with the Business Development team to understand customer needs
- Create cost estimates ensuring alignment with project scope and technical requirements
- Develop technical volumes ensuring content is accurate and compliant
- Identify and implement improvements to the bid and proposal process
- Evaluate technical and cost-related risks and recommend mitigation strategies
- Act as the primary point of contact for internal teams and external partners
- Ensure all proposals meet customer specifications and quality standards
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum of 2 years of prior relevant Proposal Management experience
- Graduate Degree or equivalent with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience
- In lieu of a degree, minimum of 6 years of prior related experience
- Experience in the aerospace and/or defense industry
- Familiarity with U.S. Government, commercial and international market segments
- Experience supporting Firm Fixed Price and Cost Plus programs
- Background in structures and Materials and Processes (M&P) engineering for metal and composite components
- Experience in an AS9100 registered organization
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
