About the role
- responsible for managing the procurement of indirect goods and services across the organization
- sourcing, supplier negotiation, and contract management
- develop and implement procurement strategies
- conduct market research to identify potential suppliers
- manage the Request for Proposal (RFP) process
- negotiate contracts with suppliers
- build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers
- collaborate with internal stakeholders
- monitor and manage supplier performance
- drive continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
- minimum of 4 years of related experience in indirect procurement or a similar role within a complex organizational setting
- Master’s degree and 2 years of prior related experience in lieu of a degree
- Strong understanding of procurement principles, contract law, and supplier management
- Excellent negotiation and analytical skills
- Proficient with procurement software systems and tools
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under tight deadlines
