About the role
- Design power and analog circuitry for launch vehicles, satellites, space avionics, Mars rovers, deep space missions, and infrared product lines
- Lead all engineering aspects of design efforts to meet technical, schedule and design-to-cost goals
- Interface effectively with team members throughout the organization
- Assist in the planning and execution of technical projects
- Conduct design architecture and component selection
- Analyze power consumption, component stress and worst case performance
- Deliver technical presentations
- Support bid and proposal activities including cost and schedule estimation
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE or BSEET)
- Minimum 9 years prior related experience
- Graduate Degree with a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience
- In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience
- Desired background in space or military avionics
- Subject matter expertise in Analog Engineering related to one or all of the following: Discrete DC/DC switching power supplies design, Transformer, inductor, and magnetics design, EMI Filter Design, Thermal analysis, LTspice simulation
- Precision circuit design for data acquisition
