About the role
- Help design custom circuit technology for software-defined radio applications.
- Develop communications systems through board-level integration of high-speed digital components, commercially available chipsets, and embedded processors.
- Document designs from requirements, testing procedures, and bill of material.
- Perform detailed performance and functional measurements and debug at a hardware level.
- Create custom Circuit Cards, utilizing FPGAs, Embedded Processors, networking components, and other electronic components.
- Support test engineering with transition of hardware to manufacturing testing.
- Contribute to design review, system integration.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience.
- Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience.
- In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.
- Familiar with lab test equipment
- Minimum of 3 years of experience with CCA and Hardware Design experience.
- Experience in laboratory debug techniques using digital scopes, logic analyzers, BERTS, and other complex measurement devices.
- Familiarity with code revision management tools such as Git/ClearCase.
- Familiarity with Confluence or other information sharing tools.
