About the role
- Perform work and sign a Maintenance Release for their work
- Report any un-airworthy conditions discovered (including Service Difficulties)
- Utilize certified/calibrated standard measuring and test equipment
- Familiarize with L3 MAS Policies and Processes
- Marshal, fuel, and tow aircraft
- Maintain a clean work area
- Assume responsibility for work as indicated by signature/stamp
- Perform duties such as repair, modification, and maintenance of aircraft in accordance with approved maintenance procedures
- Participate in the Safety Management System Program Committee on Aircraft, if requested
Requirements
- Hold a Transport Canada AME license appropriately rated (S or E)
- Qualifications on heavy aircraft in Engine/Airframe interface, Environmental Control, Electrical System, Hydraulic System, Fuel System, Flight Control System
- Must be eligible for registration with the Controlled Goods Program
- Must obtain and maintain government of Canada Reliability status and Secret Level 2/NATO Secret clearance
- Must meet U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) requirements
