About the role

  • Own the test process, including concept, design, root cause analysis, and corrective action
  • Become a subject matter expert via collaboration with Design and Systems Engineering
  • Create and refine test processes implemented by Testers and Technicians in Operations
  • Determine why issues occur and implement corrective action to prevent future failures
  • Define, trace and maintain test process requirements
  • Create and maintain test procedures
  • Improve test yield through root cause and corrective action
  • Create product related technical information in support of Operations
  • Ensure overall technical performance for Test Engineering developments
  • Work with Engineering to facilitate the transition of products from design to production
  • Provide input to Engineering to support product life cycle management
  • Project management for Test Engineering development
  • Mentor Engineers with less experience
  • Provide input to organizational vision
  • Provide technical test consultation to internal organizations, contract manufacturers or customers
  • Represent Test Engineering in technical discussions to outside organizations
  • Evaluate contract manufacturers capabilities to provide required products or services
  • Participate in product design reviews
  • Support manufacturing floor to help overcome production issues

Requirements

  • Engineering Bachelor’s Degree
  • Ability to obtain Clearance
  • Soft skills (I.E. Proficient in MS Office, Strong communication…)
