About the role
- Own the test process, including concept, design, root cause analysis, and corrective action
- Become a subject matter expert via collaboration with Design and Systems Engineering
- Create and refine test processes implemented by Testers and Technicians in Operations
- Determine why issues occur and implement corrective action to prevent future failures
- Define, trace and maintain test process requirements
- Create and maintain test procedures
- Improve test yield through root cause and corrective action
- Create product related technical information in support of Operations
- Ensure overall technical performance for Test Engineering developments
- Work with Engineering to facilitate the transition of products from design to production
- Provide input to Engineering to support product life cycle management
- Project management for Test Engineering development
- Mentor Engineers with less experience
- Provide input to organizational vision
- Provide technical test consultation to internal organizations, contract manufacturers or customers
- Represent Test Engineering in technical discussions to outside organizations
- Evaluate contract manufacturers capabilities to provide required products or services
- Participate in product design reviews
- Support manufacturing floor to help overcome production issues
Requirements
- Engineering Bachelor’s Degree
- Ability to obtain Clearance
- Soft skills (I.E. Proficient in MS Office, Strong communication…)
