About the role
- Create 3D models for new assemblies
- Convert drawings from a 3D model into the proper format with required dimensioning
- Create new assemblies and fabricated parts using CAD tools
- Create Bill of Material (BOM)
Requirements
- Technical degree in mechanical drafting or other related discipline.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in similar areas.
- Knowledge of mechanical CAD tools (Autodesk Inventor and CREO).
- Knowledge of electrical CAD tools (Zuken) an asset.
- Must be detail-oriented.
- Must be eligible for registration with the Controlled Goods Program ;
- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a government of Canada “Reliability” status and Level 2 (Secret) security clearance.
- Must be eligible to meet the requirements for U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) .
