About the role
- You research a wide range of topics and, ideally, write press releases, editorial content and other PR formats yourself in a clear, engaging, and audience-appropriate style.
- You proactively reach out to journalists, editors and media professionals to strategically and sustainably place our clients in relevant media.
- You create well-founded link plans, continuously research new potential link sources and evaluate them for quality, relevance and sustainability.
- You develop cross-channel campaign and content concepts that take into account SEO and GEO objectives as well as clients’ PR and brand considerations.
- You perform backlink analyses and audits: you analyse existing link profiles, identify opportunities, spot toxic or unnatural links and derive concrete recommendations for action.
- You analyse competitor backlink profiles (link sources, content formats, placement logic) and translate the insights into realistic and scalable link building measures.
- You produce meaningful reports, analyse results and confidently present your findings to colleagues and clients.
Requirements
- You are strong in communication and present yourself confidently and professionally to clients, partners and media representatives.
- You have a strong interest in current topics and developments such as GEO and bring genuine enthusiasm for press relations and digital communication.
- You work proactively and independently, are not afraid of direct outreach and are characterised by a structured, analytical and solution-oriented way of working.
- You enjoy creative work, have substantial media literacy and maintain an overview even when working on multiple projects.
- You are a team player, open to feedback and enjoy professional exchange with your colleagues.
- You have very good German and confident English skills, both written and spoken.
- You hold a degree or comparable qualification with a focus on communications, marketing, business or a related field.
- You have already gained initial practical experience in PR, link marketing or adjacent areas.
