About the role

  • Develop and implement a holistic marketing and growth strategy (brand & performance)
  • Translate company objectives into clear marketing goals, KPIs, and roadmaps
  • Act as a sparring partner for the executive team on growth, budget, and go-to-market decisions
  • Responsible for marketing budget, forecasting, and ROI management
  • Functional and disciplinary leadership of the marketing team (currently 13 employees)
  • Establish clear structures, processes, and responsibilities
  • Develop team leads and foster ownership & performance
  • Responsible for D2C e-commerce growth (conversion, AOV, retention)
  • Manage and optimize all relevant paid channels (Meta, Google, TikTok, etc.)
  • Performance analysis, testing setups, attribution, and data-driven decision making
  • Close collaboration with Product & Operations to optimize the customer journey
  • Strategic development of brand identity and brand experience
  • Manage the content strategy across all touchpoints (social, website, campaigns, CRM)
  • Responsible for influencer & creator strategy (awareness, trust, conversion)
  • Ensure a consistent brand presence online and offline
  • Plan and execute product launches, campaigns, and promotions
  • Develop scalable marketing playbooks for growth markets
  • Market and competitive analysis in the food & FMCG sector

Requirements

  • Several years of experience in a marketing leadership role
  • Proven success in a start-up or scale-up environment
  • Strong background in food, FMCG, D2C, or consumer brands
  • Deep understanding of performance marketing & brand building
  • Experience building and leading larger, multidisciplinary teams
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong hands-on approach
  • Several years of close collaboration with founders
  • Excellent analytical skills & KPI-driven working style
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
