About the role

  • Recording, processing and coordinating customer orders in the warehouse management system (WMS), and liaising with customers, warehouse and shipping
  • Controlling and monitoring material flow, including ensuring smooth goods handling and turnover
  • Preparing, producing and attaching shipping labels, as well as preparing all relevant shipping and clearance documents
  • Booking goods in and out of inventory, maintaining stock data and performing inventory checks
  • Coordinating, supervising and handling loadings and trucks, including communication with drivers
  • Ensuring compliance with safety and dangerous goods regulations (ADR), and performing general administrative tasks

Requirements

  • Completed commercial vocational training, e.g., as a Freight Forwarding and Logistics Services Clerk or a comparable qualification
  • Initial professional experience in the described area is desirable
  • Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and SAP is an advantage
  • Strong communication skills and an organized, careful working style
  • Very good German language skills, both spoken and written
  • Confident user of MS Office
