About the role

  • Preparation, execution and follow-up of internal and external audits, including handling non-conformities and verifying the effectiveness of corrective actions
  • Handling customer complaints and internal non-conformities using methods such as 8D, Ishikawa or Fast Response; escalating process and quality issues when necessary
  • Maintenance and further development of quality documentation and analysis of quality metrics (KPIs) to derive measures and action plans
  • Creation, optimization and implementation of processes, work and inspection instructions, including maintenance of the quality management tool CWA SmartProcess
  • Monitoring and analysis of quality costs and initiation of improvement measures, quality circles and training
  • Support for product and component testing, quarantines/holds, releases and management of quarantine/blocked stock
  • Consulting and operational support for departments on strategic and hands-on quality tasks

Requirements

  • Completed vocational training or degree in Quality Management, Engineering or a related field; several years of practical experience in quality management is an advantage
  • Strong knowledge of the quality standards IATF 16949 and ISO 9001, and experience in process and supplier audits
  • Experience with quality assurance methods such as FMEA, SPC, Cp/Cpk analyses, Six Sigma/Lean, root cause analysis (RCA) and defect management
  • Practical experience in developing and executing test plans, acceptance tests, sampling, validations and verifications
  • Confident handling of quality management documentation, work instructions/SOPs, change and risk management, as well as interface coordination
  • Strong sense of responsibility and organizational skills to ensure seamless traceability and batch management
