About the role

  • Prepare, conduct and follow up on internal and external audits, including handling nonconformities and verifying the effectiveness of corrective actions.
  • Handle customer complaints and internal nonconformities using methods such as 8D, Ishikawa and Fast Response; escalate process and quality issues as necessary.
  • Maintain and further develop quality documentation and analyze quality KPIs to derive measures and action plans.
  • Create, optimize and implement processes, work and inspection instructions, including maintenance of the QMS tool CWA SmartProcess.
  • Monitor and analyze quality costs and initiate improvement measures, quality circles and training programs.
  • Support product and component testing, quarantines, releases and management of quarantine stock.
  • Consult with and provide operational support to departments on strategic and practical quality tasks.

Requirements

  • Completed vocational training or degree in quality management, engineering or a comparable field; several years of practical experience in quality management are an advantage.
  • Solid knowledge of the quality standards IATF 16949 and ISO 9001 as well as experience in process and supplier audits.
  • Experience with quality assurance methods such as FMEA, SPC, Cp/Cpk analyses, Six Sigma/Lean, root cause analysis (RCA) and failure management.
  • Practical experience in developing and executing test plans, acceptance tests, sampling, validations and verifications.
  • Confident handling of QM documentation, work instructions/SOPs, change and risk management, and coordination of interfaces.
  • Strong sense of responsibility and organizational skills to ensure complete traceability and batch/lot management.
