About the role

  • You support the development of short- and long-term strategic financial objectives
  • You are responsible for preparing the financial statements (balance sheet, profit and loss statement (P&L), and notes)
  • You establish, maintain and monitor appropriate internal control systems, identify problem areas, and develop corrective measures
  • You oversee liquidity planning, ensure the company's ability to meet payment obligations at all times, and optimize the cash position
  • You are responsible for the company's tax matters, minimize risks, and ensure compliance with tax regulations
  • You actively drive simplification and standardization initiatives and contribute innovative ideas
  • You work closely with various stakeholders as a business partner

Requirements

  • You hold a bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or Economics (a master's degree is an advantage)
  • Ideally you hold a CPA or equivalent qualification
  • You have at least 5 years of experience in finance
  • You have experience in the retail and/or FMCG sector
  • You have solid knowledge of Swiss GAAP FER and OIC. Experience with SAP FI/CO is a plus
  • You work proactively and independently and perform well with minimal supervision
  • You are fluent in English and Italian, both written and spoken.
