About the role

  • Manage and provide leadership and support for development/maintenance of Oracle Database, SOA, Web based Portal applications.
  • Prepare short and long term plans to address infrastructure projects as well as support to and technical leadership for internal/external stakeholders.
  • Lead Center of Development Excellence team to develop technical talent, identify learning gaps, ensure consistency, implement best practices and create Consultant oversight model.
  • Manage staff including monitoring of day to day activities, performance, mentoring, training, and handling of questions or issues raised by staff.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in a technical function leading the creation and maintenance of software applications.
  • At least 4 years leading staff or supervisory experience in the development and implementation of integration solutions for business applications across multiple platforms on Windows, UNIX O/S and Linux environments.
  • High level of written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent communicator with the ability to discuss and understand HealthCare business partners across all operations as well as understand I.T. concepts and project methodologies.
