About the role

  • Manage the Design/Development department in special-purpose machine engineering (approx. 9 employees)
  • Develop and create innovative system concepts, including feasibility and cycle time analyses
  • Ensure the functionality of technical solutions while considering all technical requirements
  • Implement specifications and order documentation for the manufacturing of machines and systems
  • Oversee design capacity to ensure deadlines, cost and quality targets are met

Requirements

  • Degree: e.g., Mechanical Engineering, Product Design or an equivalent qualification
  • Several years of professional experience in design, ideally in special-purpose machine engineering
  • Relevant leadership experience as a team leader
  • Language skills: good written and spoken English
  • Mindset and working style: goal-oriented and committed, combined with a critical approach to existing processes
  • Soft skills: ability to motivate and inspire innovation in mechanical and electrical design
