About the role
- Lead the Design/Development department in special machine engineering (approx. 9 employees)
- Develop and produce innovative plant and machine concepts, including feasibility and cycle-time analyses
- Ensure the functional viability of technical solutions while complying with all technical specifications
- Implement specifications and order documentation for the manufacturing of machines and systems
- Manage design resources to ensure schedule, cost, and quality targets are met
Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design, or a comparable qualification
- Several years of professional experience in design/engineering, ideally in special machine engineering
- Relevant leadership experience, e.g., as a team leader
- Language skills: good written and spoken English
- Mindset and working style: goal-oriented and committed, with a critical approach to reviewing existing processes
- Soft skills: ability to motivate and inspire innovation in mechanical and electrical design
