About the role
- Lead the Design/Engineering department in custom machine manufacturing (approx. 9 employees)
- Develop and create innovative plant concepts, including feasibility and cycle time analyses
- Ensure the functionality of technical solutions while complying with all technical specifications
- Implement specifications and order documentation for the manufacture of machines and systems
- Manage engineering capacity to ensure deadlines, cost targets, and quality requirements are met
Requirements
- Completed degree: e.g., Mechanical Engineering, Product Design, or comparable qualification
- Several years of professional experience in design/engineering, ideally in special machine construction
- Relevant leadership experience: as a team leader
- Language skills: good written and spoken English
- Working style: goal-oriented and committed, combined with a critical approach to existing processes
- Soft skills: motivating and inspiring promotion of innovation in mechanical and electrical design
