About the role
- Lead design and configuration workshops focused on SAP S/4HANA FI, translating business needs into technical solutions
- Analyze and map business requirements to SAP functionality, identifying gaps and proposing enhancements or extensions
- Configure core FI components such as General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), and Bank Accounting
- Ensure seamless integration between FI and other modules like CO, MM, SD
- Support rollouts, system upgrades, compliance and regulatory enhancements
- Provide guidance on financial close processes, period-end closing, and reporting structures
- Develop documentation: functional specs, process flows, configuration guides, test plans, and user training materials
- Act as a trusted advisor to both business stakeholders and technical teams, guiding decisions and ensuring alignment throughout implementation
Requirements
- Minimum of 8–10 years of SAP functional consulting experience, with a strong focus on FI in SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA environments
- Preferably S/4HANA implementation experience
- Deep expertise in GL, AP, AR, AA, Bank Accounting, and inter-company reconciliation
- Hands-on experience with SAP Activate methodology or other structured implementation frameworks
- Strong integration knowledge: FI with CO, MM, SD for efficient end-to-end process flows
- Proven experience in workshop facilitation, business requirement gathering, and translating into SAP solutions
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to interact effectively with senior business and finance users
- Proficiency in documenting functional specifications, test scripts, training materials
- SAP functional certification in FI (e.g., S/4HANA FI Accredited) is a plus
