About the role
- Assist SAP in their sales campaigns that include Collibra solutions and support Collibra go-to-market teams selling SAP-compatible solutions
- Act as primary technical advisor during the sales cycle, demonstrating how combined SAP and partner solutions solve business challenges
- Map solutions to value across large and dynamic US customers, bridging business and technical requirements
- Participate in discovery and drive qualification of new opportunities and expanding customers
- Prepare and conduct product demonstrations highlighting how Collibra’s Platform supports Enterprise customer needs
- Advise and support customers’ technical stakeholders to accelerate Collibra adoption and value realization; be primary point of contact for technical/product queries
- Identify, evaluate, recommend, and execute value-based workshops and proofs of concept/values
- Prepare and provide input for functional and technical sections of RFPs/RFQs
- Support sales and marketing activities, webcasts, field enablement, and asset creation
- Provide advice and feedback to product management and engineering to enhance offerings
- Meet measures of success: familiarize with Collibra and processes, host discovery calls and basic demos, educate customers on features and roadmap, and complete administrative tasks in support of sales
Requirements
- 5+ years in a Sales or Customer Engineering or Sales Consulting role
- Broad SAP Portfolio Knowledge, strong functional and technical understanding of core SAP products (most commonly SAP S/4HANA)
- Knowledge of relevant modules (e.g., FI/CO, MM, SD) and SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP)
- Expertise in explaining technical integration between 3rd party products and SAP (data flows, process synchronization, certified integration)
- Experience in Sales or Customer engineering in Enterprise land and expand motions
- Broad knowledge of data governance, data catalog, data quality, and data privacy platforms
- Experience with value-based selling, cost-benefit analysis and ROI analysis, process and project management
- Experience as a Data Management practitioner (cataloging, integration, data quality, data and/or enterprise architecture) and participation in governance boards is a plus
- Experience in regulatory compliance and/or (financial/IT) audit is a plus
- Experience with leading PaaS providers, Data Lakes, Databases, and Integration platforms; experience in the data space is required
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience is required
- Willing to travel up to 30% within the region
- Effective communicator and trusted advisor for C-level and C-1 level executives
- Sales- and customer-focused self-starter with enthusiasm, flexibility, and motivation
- Proven collaborator and liaison with all levels and departments and success in a partner-heavy environment
- Confident in dispensing knowledge to a highly skilled and experienced audience
