About the role
- Provide high-level technical support for complex issues related to infrastructure, deployment, and system integrations.
- Lead the investigation and resolution of critical incidents.
- Design, implement, and optimize continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to ensure seamless software delivery and deployment processes.
- Manage and automate the deployment, scaling, and monitoring of infrastructure across multiple environments.
- Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimizations to improve efficiency, reliability, and scalability of applications and infrastructure.
- Ensure adherence to security best practices and compliance requirements.
- Implement and manage security controls and policies to safeguard the organization’s infrastructure and data.
- Work closely with development teams to understand application requirements and provide guidance on DevOps best practices.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of systems, processes, and workflows.
- Generate reports and metrics to track performance and highlight areas for improvement.
- Contribute to the strategic planning of DevOps initiatives.
Requirements
- 5+ years of proven experience with Ansible and Ansible Tower in an enterprise environment.
- Strong proficiency in writing Ansible playbooks and roles.
- Experience with integrating Ansible Tower with other tools, e.g. service management tools.
- Proficient in using Git for version control and collaboration.
- Strong Python scripting skills for automation and integration tasks.
- Experience in handling Linux infrastructure troubleshooting.
- Solid shell scripting skills for automation tasks.
- Familiarity with event automation concepts and tools.
- Solid understanding of infrastructure as code (IAC) principles.
- Hands-on experience in AWS cloud advanced services and Python, Ansible, and shell scripting.
