About the role
- Own the end-to-end design process: user research, persona development, journey mapping, interaction design, UI design, prototyping, UX writing, and usability testing.
- Leverage AI-powered tools to accelerate ideation, design iteration, prototype generation, and spec creation while maintaining high standards of craft, usability, and accessibility.
- Author clear, structured product and design specifications that enable spec-driven development, reduce ambiguity, and improve collaboration with engineering.
- Evolve design workflows by identifying opportunities where AI tools and automation can improve efficiency, consistency, and quality across the product lifecycle.
- Establish and maintain a design system that ensures consistency, accessibility, and efficiency across our products.
- Define and evangelize the design vision across the product suite while contributing user insights into product strategy, roadmap prioritization, and cross-functional decision-making.
- Help mentor future design hires as the design function continues to scale.
Requirements
- 5+ years of product design experience, with a portfolio that demonstrates strong user-centered thinking and end-to-end design execution.
- Experience designing B2B enterprise SaaS applications.
- Proficiency in modern design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite).
- Experience using AI assisted design or development tools (e.g., Figma Make, Claude Code, Cursor, or similar) as part of modern product design and delivery workflows.
- Demonstrated experience working with or contributing to spec-driven development (SDD) practices, including writing or collaborating on structured specs that align design, product, and engineering.
- Experience translating user research and complex product requirements into clear, implementation ready design artifacts.
- Curiosity and adaptability when evaluating and adopting emerging tools and workflows to improve how products are designed and built.
- Familiarity with accessibility best practices and designing for inclusion.
