About the role

  • Monitor the president's schedule by centralizing information on appointments and creating a shared spreadsheet accessible to the entire headquarters;
  • Provide translation and simultaneous interpretation of the president's communications, translating texts from English/Spanish or Japanese into Portuguese, and interpreting speeches and interviews;
  • Support and provide simultaneous interpretation during travel, board meetings, senior management sessions, and KAS (Kumon South America) leadership trainings, ensuring faithful transmission of messages;
  • Translate and proofread projects from headquarters and branch departments, as well as strategic reports and corporate documents, facilitating communication between staff and the presidency;
  • Assist in resolving issues and complaints from instructors and/or employees by managing requests and providing responses;
  • Support the development of corporate strategy and planning and monitor targets, facilitating sharing and reporting;
  • Keep up-to-date controls over assigned activities, maintaining a clear view of critical points and taking proactive measures;
  • Contribute to process improvements within your area of responsibility and in areas you interact with;
  • Monitor the area's budgetary control, tracking expenses and activities monthly in alignment with information provided by the Controllership Department;
  • Perform other duties of similar nature and complexity as required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree completed;
  • Language skills: Fluent Japanese; advanced English or Spanish;
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, with intermediate Excel skills;
  • Experience as a translator/interpreter;
  • Experience supporting corporate planning and providing direct assistance to senior leadership;
  • Willingness to travel (within Brazil and South America);
  • Residency in São Paulo (capital) required;
  • Alignment with the education field and with the company's method and philosophy.
