About the role
- Support and execution of institutional and project-specific administrative processes in close cooperation with producers and the central administration of the KBB.
- Assistance with institutional and cross-departmental administrative tasks, such as credit card reconciliation.
- Preparation and execution of administrative processes within projects, with a particular focus on performative practices.
- This includes, among other things, the preparation and handling of contracts, invoices, petty cash funds, GEMA registration, and applications for VAT and income tax exemptions.
- Organizing travel and hotel bookings in close coordination with the production team, as well as direct communication with artists.
- Preparing background materials, minutes, and overview lists to enable efficient information management, including documenting one’s own work steps.
- Supporting communication with artists, curators, external service providers, and companies.
- Assisting with event implementation in the areas of guest services and hospitality.
Requirements
- Current enrollment in a degree program in a field relevant to the position’s tasks or the department’s thematic work (art & culture).
- Independent, structured and precise working style.
- German and English language skills at CEFR level C1; additional language skills are an advantage.
- Confident user of MS Office 365.
