About the role

  • Actively shape the company’s overall commercial strategy together with the CCO
  • Work closely with the CCO and Marketing to implement the strategy
  • Identify and leverage competitive advantages
  • Plan and manage sales and marketing strategies based on key performance indicators
  • Responsible for implementing shipping partner initiatives tailored to target audiences
  • Analyze market, competitor and demand developments to identify growth and revenue opportunities
  • Build and maintain strategic partnerships and actively network

Requirements

  • Degree in Business Administration, Marketing & Sales, Tourism Management or a related field
  • Initial professional experience in a commercial role (e.g., Commercial, Sales, Revenue Management or Business Development)
  • Confident user of MS Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint) and common analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Looker, or similar)
  • Excellent written and spoken German and English
  • Preferably experience with CRM or revenue management systems, or strong cruise industry knowledge
  • Strong affinity for numbers and pronounced analytical skills
  • Strategic mindset and entrepreneurial thinking
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Confident stakeholder management and negotiation skills
  • Assertiveness and decisiveness
  • Resilience, flexibility and willingness to travel
