About the role

  • Lead planning strategy across demand, supply, deployment, and production to drive forecast accuracy, service levels, and operational efficiency. Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of planners; provide training, clear performance metrics, and regular feedback while fostering a culture of accountability and growth. Drive S&OP process excellence, ensuring alignment between commercial forecasts and operational capabilities. Establish and monitor key performance metrics across all planning functions; implement data-driven solutions to address gaps and improve accuracy. Partner with senior leadership to provide visibility into planning challenges and opportunities, recommending strategic solutions that balance service and cost objectives. Oversee the development and continuous improvement of planning processes, systems, and tools. Ensure effective cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Finance to support business objectives and new product launches. Anticipate and mitigate supply chain risks, ensuring business continuity and customer satisfaction. Prepare and present regular reports and insights to executive leadership. Partner with Kraft Heinz operations teams to develop best-in-class planning function that is optimized for the unique go-to-market of Primal Kitchen. Provide leadership, coaching, and direction to all direct reports. Set clear goals and performance expectations; conduct regular one-on-ones, performance reviews, and development planning. Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and training of new planning team members.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or related field required; Master’s degree preferred. 5+ years of progressive experience in supply chain planning, demand planning, or related roles within the CPG or food industry. Proven experience leading and developing high-performing teams. Deep understanding of S&OP processes and supply chain optimization. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data-driven decision-making skills. Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities. Experience with ERP and advanced planning systems (SAP preferred). Demonstrated ability to influence senior leadership and drive organizational change.
