About the role
- Develop and manage a portfolio of national GMS (large retail) clients in the French market
- Lead and optimize the negotiation of annual national agreements
- Implement and drive commercial action plans
- Grow and monitor sales and profitability
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with French GMS retailers
- Provide regular reporting on clients, competitors and market trends
- Collaborate with the company's various departments
- Negotiate purchasing terms with factories/production sites
- Contribute to project management in collaboration with Marketing, Quality, Supply and factory teams
Requirements
- Master's degree (Bac+5) — e.g., business school or engineering school
- Proven experience of at least 3–4 national negotiation cycles in GMS
- Strong knowledge of sales methods and negotiation techniques in the GMS channel
- Results-oriented, motivated by challenges and achieving targets
- Proactive, autonomous and a self-starter who proposes solutions
- Ideally experience with private label (MDD)
