About the role

  • Lead the design and implementation of scalable, high-performance data architectures.
  • Develop and enforce best practices for data modelling, data governance, and metadata management.
  • Provide oversight and guidance to other data architects and engineering teams.
  • Work closely with business leaders, department heads, and cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable data solutions.
  • Architect and implement advanced data platforms to support analytics, machine learning, and AI applications.
  • Apply quality assurance techniques to data structures and models.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies.
  • Develop, refine, and package AI driven data architecture propositions that address market needs.
  • Collaborate with business development and client teams to position data architecture offerings.

Requirements

  • Expertise in data integration, data warehousing, and analytics platforms.
  • Familiarity with data governance frameworks and regulatory compliance.
  • Experience with metadata management, data dictionaries, and data quality assurance.
  • Ability to lead and mentor technical teams.
  • Experience with MDM architecture patterns.
  • Experience developing or supporting market-facing propositions or consulting offerings.
  • Certifications such as AWS, TOGAF, CDMP, or similar are a plus.
