About the role

  • Apply knowledge of legislation, case law, and Inland Revenue rulings in tax-related work.
  • Demonstrate familiarity with tax lodgement programmes and payment requirements.
  • Understand financial statements and their relevance to the tax function.
  • Use compliance procedures to identify tax planning issues effectively.
  • Continuously adapt and learn to address knowledge gaps and keep up with business and economic environments.
  • Deliver quality client service, assist with problem-solving, and identify value-added opportunities while maintaining confidentiality.

Requirements

  • Are working towards a Degree in Commerce, Accounting, Economics, Law, or another relevant discipline, with a preference for those whose studies align to Chartered Accountancy or Law Professional Studies pathways (preferred but not essential).
  • Bring a collaborative mindset, working effectively with colleagues across the team.
  • Approach complex challenges with a pragmatic, solutions‑focused attitude.
  • Build trusted and respected relationships with clients through credibility and professionalism.
