About the role
- Use your experience to conduct rigorous market intelligence about crude markets with a strong focus on the Americas.
- Identify key market trends and insights on the Americas physical markets to highlight in reports for clients.
- Assist in pre-sales efforts by conveying Kpler’s view.
- Promote research and materials produced within Kpler across all external stakeholders, building relationships with both the mainstream and specialist media
- Identify and report on key developments in the oil and refined products space as part of Kpler’s Insights offering
- Contribute to the production of company webinars and external presentations
- Collaborate with the product and technical teams to further develop our portfolio of client offerings
- Sustain and develop models to produce supply and demand data
Requirements
- 5+ years of prior experience in crude oil markets
- 3+ years of physical trading exposure
- Experience in producing independent market analysis and insights
- Skilled at conducting complex analyses across multiple datasets using advancing data analytics tools
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Previous experience using Kpler data or other cargo tracking tools
- Experience with SQL, Python, R, or other data science tools
