About the role
- New Carrier Relationship Development: Identify, engage, and contract with insurance carriers and brokers across the Asia-Pacific region, expanding Kota's in-country proposition availability through like-minded, commercially-aligned partnerships.
- Relationship Building: Act as a key liaison with broker partners, supporting deeper, long-term collaboration and alignment, ensuring that they meet our service level expectations.
- Market Expansion Support: Research providers, ecosystems, and regulatory environments across the Asia-Pacific region to inform market entry strategy and partner selection.
- Operational Excellence: Maintain accurate records, dashboards, and reporting to keep stakeholders aligned and informed.
- Knowledge Management: Develop and refine playbooks, processes, and best practices to ensure scalable growth.
- Post Launch Reviews: Gather partner and client feedback, distilling lessons learned into actionable improvements.
- Business Continuity Planning: Help design, document, and operationalise BCP frameworks to safeguard service delivery across markets.
- Partnership Governance: Coordinate and participate in partner governance forums, ensuring actions, risks, and outcomes are well-documented and tracked.
Requirements
- Fluent in English (written and spoken); additional languages would be a plus.
- Excellent relationship-building skills, with experience supporting partner-facing initiatives.
- 5+ years’ experience in employee benefits, pensions, or insurance in the countries mentioned above, ideally in consulting, brokerage, or benefits administration. Wider Asia-Pacific experience is a plus.
- Strong understanding of one of the local countries mentioned above’s benefits ecosystem, including mandatory statutory benefits, supplementary private benefits, and the country's relevant regulatory framework.
- Relevant professional qualifications in Employee Benefits Consulting, Business Administration or HR/insurance specialism
- Highly organised, detail-oriented, and reliable with strong follow-through.
- Proactive and curious, comfortable taking ownership and asking the right questions.
- Strong written and verbal communication, with an ability to simplify complexity for stakeholders.
- Analytical mindset with confidence in handling data and market research (Excel/Sheets).
- A team player who thrives in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
